Passports

The Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder's Office can accept new passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State for any U.S. citizen. We do not accept passport renewals. Renew your passport online.

We accept passport applications by appointment only on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. at our Recording Office in the County Administration Building, 5334 S. Prince St., Littleton. Sorry, we no longer accept walk-in customers for passports.

What to Bring

  • Unsigned, completed passport application form in black ink only for each applicant (must include your social security number);
  • One color passport photo measuring 2 inches by 2 inches for each applicant (Effective Nov. 1: customers must remove their eye glasses for photo);
  • Proof of citizenship, such as certified birth certificate, naturalization certificate or previous passport for each applicant;
  • Photo identification for each applicant;
  • Cash, check or money order payable to "Arapahoe County Clerk" for processing fee ($25 per applicant); and
  • A second check or money order to "Department of State" for the passport application fee.
